At the highest level, this role is responsible for accounts payable, counting cash, and sales reconciliations. Key Responsibilities: + Review, process, gather, and compile accounting transactions and documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance. + Reconciles balance sheet accounts assigned including reconciling purchases/processing of material farms. + Assists in maintenance, reconciliation, deposits, invoicing and provides miscellaneous bookkeeping services for the organization. + Assists with preparation of year-end audit schedules as assigned. + Enters assigned data into appropriate or specific systems (Journal entries, Accounts Payable, etc.) + Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances + Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts + Provides analytical support during financial audit which may include maintaining analysis of legal, consulting and physician fees, and applicable hours + Performs other job-related duties as assigned The candidate must have: + Bachelor?s degree preferred but will consider applicants with an Associate?s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience + 2 - 5 years of related-experience + Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, and Quickbooks + Knowledge of basic accounting procedures + Ability to adapt quickly to change + Must be detail-oriented + Must be 21 years of age or older Core Competencies Team Player: Proven ability to work cooperatively with team members at all levels.
