We are currently seeking an Inventory Associate to master all processes of the Inventory Division, inform its daily pursuit of further excellence, and contribute to sophisticated role delegation within the Division to maximize each Division Member?s unique contribution. This role requires someone who thrives in a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary, and unpredictable yet highly structured environment. The Inventory Associate is efficient, organized, flexible, tech-savvy, and a good communicator, and loves working with a team, making work fun, and taking responsibility for their own outcomes.
This is a full-time role based at our Maple Ridge production facility.
+ Execute Inventory Division Shipping procedures, from retrieving orders of product or merchandise for packaging through transferring ready packages to outgoing courier.
+ Execute Inventory Division Stocking procedures, including labeling, logging, and stocking product in Vault, scheduling and monitoring restocking of product in Vault in coordination with Cultivation and Harvest teams, and E-commerce and Marketing teams, and labeling, logging, and stocking merchandise items in Shipping Area.
+ Schedule and monitor re-stocking of merchandise items in Shipping Area in coordination E-commerce and Marketing teams.
+ Log and maintain inventory of all Inventory Division Sanitization and Equipment supplies.
+ Execute Inventory Division Sanitization procedures.
+ Coordinate and supervise Packaging Machine maintenance.
+ Anticipate and execute internal Packaging Machine maintenance procedures directly.
+ Anticipate, coordinate and supervise timely external technical and contractor Packaging Machine maintenance support.
+ Coordinate and supervise maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting of Inventory Division online and tech systems.
+ Anticipate and engage internal support from our IT Division.
+ Anticipate and execute external tech support and / or requisitions in coordination with our IT Division.
+ Model and support synergistic engagement with all team members within both the Division and the wider Enterprise.
+ Coordinate to maximize your and other Division Member?s unique contribution assets.
+ Support the scaling and expansion of Inventory Division procedures to suit the needs of the wider Enterprise.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Promote a safe, efficient work environment which upholds Tantalus Labs? safety policies.
+ Adhere to Tantalus Labs? Cultural Policies as detailed in the Cultural Handbook.
+ Performs other duties as requested.
+ High school minimum, post secondary preferred.
+ Minimum 3 years? experience in a comparable role in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency with technology such as Google Apps Suite, online requisitions ordering platforms, and data entry.
+ Efficient learning on use of tech platforms.
+ A professional, courteous, and mature demeanor.
+ Ability to work in a team environment and present a flexible and adaptable approach to work assignments.
+ Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
+ Ability to maintain precise standards, process, and consistency on multiple repeated set tasks such as label placement, label and order data matching, weight measurement and confirmation, machine induction sealing, data entry, and task logging.
+ Flexible, collaborative, and team oriented with a willingness to contribute.
+ Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
+ Readiness to work shifts outside a Mon-Fri schedule (ie weekend days), and work inside for extended periods, including inside enclosed sanitized space.
+ Readiness to stand at packing tables, execute repetitive packaging tasks, lift and carry boxes and equipment that may weigh 9-12kg (20-25 pounds), and work with pallet jack or dolly loads.
+ Class 5 driver?s license with clean driving abstract.
