Overview
Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered):
1) 8+ years of full-stack development experience.
2) SaaS or consumer startup experience strongly preferred.
3) Independent functionality with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
4) Ability to confidently communicate technology plans and choices to leadership, while tracking progress regularly towards those goals.
5) Preferred proficiency: PHP / Javascript Laravel Twilio & Twilio Markup Language (TwiML) postgreSQL AWS Services CodeBuild, CodePipeline
6) Familiarity with: Android App Development IoS App Development EmberJS Nginx NewRelic dokku/docker

*Candidate will be joining a start up, fast-growing company with customers across the country.
*This hire will be client's first technology hire, and will be working directly with the CEO and management team.
*Candidate needs to be comfortable leading a team yet also actively participating in the team, too - it is more than simply managing a team.
*Looking for an engineer who is a generalist as opposed to a specialist.
*The ideal candidate is able to balance the complex and dynamic demands of a growing technology startup, be comfortable working under pressure as the primary architect of the software and systems in use, and be motivated to take on all these challenges with minimal technology support.
