Role and Responsibilities

As a sales associate with The Canadian Cannabis Store you will be responsible for guiding customers to the appropriate recreational product and providing impeccable customer service while complying with all federal, provincial and jurisdictional regulations.  Sales associates provide customers with prompt service and quality products while maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment.  You will be responsible for assisting the management team with the activities and operations of the store while abiding by all policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. 

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Verify all individuals who enter the store are 19 years of age or older
• Guide and direct customers in their cannabis purchasing experience
• Answer customer questions and concerns
• Meet and exceed sales goals
• Ensure compliance in all transactions
• Assist with opening/closing of store and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
• Excellent customer service skills
• Retail experience preferred
• CannSell certification (may be obtained after job offer but before the first day of work)
• Criminal reference check (must be current/within 90 days)
• Must have own transportation
• Willingness and ability to participate in all education/performance improvement initiatives as directed by Management
