Job Description

A rapidly growing cannabis company is looking to add a junior accountant to their team! This role offers internal growth and is a great opportunity for anyone with 2-5 years of AP or AR experience! Description: + Monitor, review, and verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and adequacy of supporting documentation. + Completion of month-end close, account reconciliations, and P&L preparation. + Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensure accuracy of them, audit/tax preparation. + Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes. + General ledger reconciliation, resolving discrepancies/issues, including proactively resolving accounting issues with minimal guidance. + Reconcile bank and credit card accounts. + Prepare and post journal entries, including payables, receivables, fixed assets, prepaid, accruals. + Maintains accounts, ledgers, journals, files, reports, and other documentation for departmental or company accounts.
