 CCS Green is currently recruiting on behalf of a Cannabis client for the role of:


The Project Manager (PM) reports to the Director, PMO and Engineering and is responsible for overseeing the successful organization, execution and completion of company projects. This includes indirectly managing employees from various functions, setting deadlines, communicating with company executives about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary, to meet new requirements.

 What you will be doing

  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility 
  • Leading project planning sessions
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources
  • Managing project progress and adapt work as required
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Designing and signing off on contracts
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation
  • Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review
  • Designing risk mitigation plans
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
  • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary


Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in managing projects from conception to final product in construction, manufacturing, engineering, pharma, trades and/or cannabis environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification would be considered an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Project
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a go-getter personality
  • Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong team player with a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Excellent time and project management skill
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Project
  • Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities. Knowledge of lean and agile project management methodology will be an asset.
  • Strong business acumen and presentation skills: highly effective at summarizing and presenting the key considerations and decision-points
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills executive-level presentations, explaining technical terms in a business context, managing conflicting
  • Successful completion of satisfactory criminal record check
