Our Talent Development & Planning department is looking for a new colleague to join the team as an Associate Manager of Learning & Development in Richmond, VA, or we are open to remote work arrangements. This role will support enterprise-wide learning with a focus on compliance training across all of Altria’s companies. The successful candidate will work with key partners on needs analysis, design, project management, delivery and evaluation of training curriculum. They will also collaborate with the broader L&D team to craft and deliver effective training initiatives to enable employees to work at their greatest potential. In this role, you will: • Design programs that build capabilities using instructor-led, virtual and experiential modalities. • Partner with stakeholders on training needs, development and vendor management. • Design learner-centric programs that align to functional or enterprise business priorities. • Provide project management on the development and execution of training deliverables. • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training programs. • Review and continually evolve existing development programs to align with changing business priorities. • Identify and assist with training methods and technologies for training delivery. • Advocate for new technology solutions in the learning space, like mobile solutions, gamification, and AI. • Facilitate virtual or in-person instructor-led training (on occasion). What we want you to have: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning & Development, or a related field (Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education or Human Resources). Master’s degree preferred. • 5+ years’ experience with demonstrated success in learning programs, development initiatives, learning facilitation and reinforcement, program design, systems proficiency, and employee communications. • Experience designing instructor-led and/or online learning programs in a corporate setting. • Strong project management experience. • Effective virtual learning facilitation. • Strong written and oral communication skills to include facilitation and presentation. • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills. • End-to-end program management experience. • Proficiency in MS (all Office products and Teams), eLearning and VILT software. • CPTD, APTD, SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification(s) preferred.
