Job Overview: We?re looking for an all-around Processing Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the processing site and team. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining a consistently compliant, safe, actively productive and developmental environment for the Processing department to function at the highest efficiency. The Processing Manager will lead a team, schedule activities and processing to meet customer demand. This role will support the Director of Sales and Sourcing while working collaboratively with other departments. Key Responsibilities: + Ensuring all processing standard operating procedures are being followed across multi-disciplinary functions. + Ensuring all processing data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion for all functions within the department. + Responsible for the development of the adherence to key performance indicators (KPI?s) and policies. + Optimizing the processing workflow (human and equipment) to ensure production goals and all deadlines are achieved. + Managing and scheduling staff and allocating manpower within the processing department. + Ensure accurate filling, packaging and labeling of products within the production facility. + Maintain that all production areas and equipment are clean and sanitized at all times according to standard operating procedures. + Enforce all safety protocols. + Enforce State Required Track and Trace Program for cultivation and flowering process. + Perform in-process and post-process quality assurance testing and conduct visual inspections to ensure the product meets or exceeds set quality standards. + Running trials to improve efficiency and reporting data to clients and the executive team. The candidate must have: + Bilingual in English and Spanish. + Teamleader experience with 10+ team members. + Must have a grasp of Chemistry. + Must have a grasp of machine operation. + Should have an analytical mindset and technology background. + Excellent attention to detail. + Stellar communication skills, both written and oral. + Ability to work effectively as a team player, proactive and desire to improve. + Consistently exercise sound judgment and discretion. + Prior experience working for a Cannabis company is a plus. + Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. + Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously. + Highly effective organization and follow up habits. + No recreational cannabis-use is tolerated during work hours. + Must be 21 years of age or older.
