About The Role:
The Compliance Supervisor assists in the overall strength of the business. The position will contribute to the stability and development of the Company by working to adhere to applicable laws governing the industry. You will be responsible for giving regular status updates to the legal team on the disposition of company wide compliance.
What You'll Do
+ Maintain records, compile information, and submit forms to achieve and maintain compliance at all CCA facilities.
+ Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, and employee compliance training.
+ Maintain clear and concise communication across all departments and with all levels of employees/management.
+ Develop and perform regular risk assessments, internal reviews and/or audits and provide specific periodic reports to management.
+ Implement and maintain effective investigation protocols and/or reporting systems for resolution of internal and external complaints, external audit findings, etc.
+ Assist with acquisition of permits and permissions to conduct all required work.
+ Respond to requests for information from local, state, and federal agencies.
+ Prepare environmental and local agency (APCD, CDFW, SWRCB) compliance documentation and records.
+ Responsible for confidential and time-sensitive material, and assist in the collection of information for regularly scheduled reports.
+ Maintains compliance for permits that involve environmentally sensitive areas, water resources, and other environmental related work.
+ Read and research technical and legal materials to maintain compliance with all state and local authorities.
+ Maintain professionalism and live CCA’s core values at all times.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned or inherent to the position.
What You'll Need to Have
+ 2-3 years in environmental compliance, regulatory monitoring, licensing or other highly regulated field
+ Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Environmental Science/Engineering, Finance, Communications, or Project Management
+ Flexible work schedule with the ability to travel between various CCA facilities
+ Impeccable attention to detail and problem solving skills
+ Expert user of Microsoft Office and/or Google’s G suite
+ Functional knowledge of California cannabis regulations
+ Must be 21 years of age (or older) at the time of hire
+ Proficiency of the English language, verbal and written format
