We are seeking a Senior Manager of Workforce Planning to join the team in Richmond, VA, or we are open to remote work arrangements. This role will help us grow and scale workforce planning at Altria. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the organization with business leaders and HR colleagues to ensure we have the talent needed to achieve our company vision of responsibly leading the transition of adult smokers to a non-combustible future. What you will be doing: • Help the business take a long-range view on strategic objectives and talent needs • Work with business leaders to develop impactful and measurable workforce plans and metrics to drive talent decisions • Provide a high level of customer service, continuous support, and proactive involvement with functional leaders and HR colleagues • Develop, implement and maintain workforce planning tools, training and processes • Facilitate workforce planning sessions, in partnership with HR Business Partners, to identify critical roles, capability identification, gap analysis, and action planning • Measure, assess and report on progress against existing workforce plans to ensure business alignment • Find opportunities to streamline the end-to-end workforce planning process considering user experience • Advise and train HR Business Partners and business leaders on how to use workforce planning tools • Develop communication and reference materials on workforce planning related processes, metrics and tools We want you to have: • Bachelor's degree • 6+ years’ experience in Human Resources • 2+ years’ experience as a Business Partner, workforce planning experience is preferred • Hands-on experience with workforce planning systems and tools preferred • Solid verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to coordinate and present information concisely to a variety of audiences • Demonstrable experience influencing others and collaborating cross-functionally • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to balance both big-picture critical thinking and hands-on details • Experience improving processes, leading change programs and managing projects • Comfort with ambiguity and experience building something new In addition to the opportunity to apply and develop your skills toward key strategic objectives, we offer an excellent compensation package including a competitive base salary, comprehensive health/vision/dental insurance, participation in our deferred profit sharing and incentive compensation programs as well as a relocation assistance package.
