Job Description

GET TO KNOW BEYOND/HELLO We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis operations within each state to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical-grade cannabis formulations in the United States offering patients and customers premium, high-grade cannabis and related products. RESPONSIBILITIES + Install, repair, maintain, monitor and inspect all electronic security systems including intrusion, video, access control and fire systems + Access, update, program all electronic security intrusion, video, access control and fire systems + Provide training for end users at completion of installation or service + Maintain manufacturer certification and licensing as required + Commission security systems, including loading software programs and implementing modifications. + Document commissioning details; communicate deficiencies and progress. + Conduct testing and inspection of systems under maintenance agreement. + Respond to and complete system troubleshooting and repairs. + Identify regulatory, code and non-conformance issues. + Schedule and oversee outsourced repair jobs by systems integrator + Plan work with mentor, Lead Technician, and Team Leader. + Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material. + Work with State Security Directors on monthly testing and inspection reports based on regulatory requirements. + Work overtime when needed Qualifications + Up to 75% Travel + Ability to respond to emergency and after-hours service as they arise + High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred + Experience installing and servicing security systems; 5+ years preferred + Understanding network components + Understanding of workstation and server operating system management + Understanding of IP addressing and subnetting + Understanding of basic switch, router, and firewall principles + Understanding of IP video network transmission and factors that impact video rates and quality + Basic knowledge of: + IP & Analog Video + VMS Systems + Intrusion Systems + Access Control Systems + Ability to read and understand design and construction documents + Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions + Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire + Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet + Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted + Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our integrators and internal business partners + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) + Good verbal and written communication skills in English + Must have excellent customer-facing and customer service skills + Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States + Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
