Seeking a Cannabis Operations Professional for a premier and expanding Cannabis company based out of Portland. The company currently has cultivation, retail and distribution businesses throughout the state. Our client is seeking a Director of Operations who can organize and implement processes and procedures to continue to grow the business.
The Director of Operations will work directly with and report to the CEO and will be responsible for streamlining their manufacturing, wholesale and distribution functions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
? Directly Manage and support all major functions of the organization
? Identify operational pain points and create action plans to streamline processes through the creation of business Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs)
? Implement and execute SOPS and provide oversight of operational functions across departments
? Take a hands-on approach towards scaling and managing production operations for multiple cannabis product lines
? Collaborate with existing executives and management to determine best course of action to integrate processes through every aspect of the business including manufacturing, distribution, cultivation and retail
? Identify and assist in marketing and sales strategy
? Assemble high -performing teams and implement system-wide management tools to align operations across cultivation, manufacturing, distribution, and retail
? Aligns and preserves company culture through high integrity and positive attitude.
? Leads the development and training of procedures that ensure critical deadlines are met on time and accurately
Experience & Qualifications:
? 5+ years of experience as Director of Operations or Senior Management
? Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
? In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles
? Experience in cannabis manufacturing and distribution operations
? Ability to implement SOPs to improve business functions.
? Self-sufficient and creative leadership approach
? Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving
? Ability to recognize pain points and implement actions that lead to company growth
? Ability to work alongside leadership with confidence and open to receiving/providing feedback.
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000K base salary plus benefits and bonus incentives
