At the highest level, the HR Coordinator will provide support for several key areas of HR with a special focus on hiring, onboarding, and safety as well as assist with special projects. Key Responsibilities + Recruit, interview, and hire candidates + Conduct new hire orientations and cover all company policies + Facilitate employee changes, transfers, new hires, terminations, relocation and other employee status change + Stay up to date with new HR laws and regulations by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations + Educate employees on safety standards and expectations + Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents and related events + Conduct safety inspections and walk-throughs + Enhance department branding by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities for process improvement + Perform other assignments as directed by manager The candidate must have + Must be 21 years of age or older. + Must be bilingual - English and Spanish. + Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. + 1-3 years of HR experience in any discipline of HR. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to maintain high confidentiality this role demands. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Ability to develop, influence, and maintain strong partnership and relationships at all levels of the organization. + Excellent project management, multi-tasking, follow through and organizational skills along with a strong customer service orientation. + Ability and willingness to travel between various facilities across California.
