Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY The Production / Trim Manager will oversee daily production and operations of our cannabis trim team at the cultivation facility. This role will oversee the efficient trim processes of our cannabis plants while creating minimal waste, resulting in a high-quality product that is compliant and ready for processing or sale. This role will create and maintain a workplace environment that ensures employee safety, performance, product quality, and upholds FDA and GMP standards. The Production / Trim Manager will adhere to the standard operating procedures and focus on delivering results measured by key performance metrics. + Become subject matter expert in trimming standards and procedures, ?wet trim vs dry trim? + Oversee the process of packaging and labeling according to regulations and Jushi standards and procedures + Oversee and maintain sanitary processes and procedures + Knowledge and profiency in ISO 9000/quality control standards to maintain the integrity of the Jushi products and services + Tracking the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch, in addition to usable by-products Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and math + Assure daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to: state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedule + Manage and utilize the labor force to effectively meet production goals and quality standards. + Coordinate with the cultivation, processing, and sales departments to schedule, forecast, and coordinate the timing of each harvest in order to ensure consistent throughput of high-quality dried and cured cannabis. + Work in various sectors of the department as needed to assist train, maintain and oversee quality standards, products, and procedures by the team, as well to help meet goals. + Assure compliance requirements are met or exceeded through operational and physical support at the facility. + Responsible for continued innovation and evolution within the department in regards to policy and procedure; making recommendations and offering new concepts and ideas to help streamline productivity and cost-efficiency. + Review new processes and product flow. + Create a proactive and positive environment where processing employees are challenged to meet as well as exceed production, quality goals, and standards EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE + Associates or Bachelor?s degree preferred + Three plus years of proven experience in production supervision within the cannabis industry, packaging, contract packaging, or manufacturing environment. + Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and maintain positive relationships with all levels of management + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint + Self-starter/resourceful - able to independently work, learn & plan with minimal guidance to drive tasks to conclusion PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks + Frequently sitting and standing + Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 50 pounds + Occasionally Twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl + Must be able to work a flexible schedule; May be requested to work additional time, as business demands require + An environment with moderate to loud noise level OTHER DUTIES Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
