Want to be responsible for development and communication of production and material plans to include scheduling and/or procurement of corresponding materials for Altria Compounds? If you have a bachelor’s degree along with five plus years of experience in supply chain management/materials, we want to speak with you! We are currently looking for an Associate Manager Supply Chain in Richmond, VA What you will be doing: • Develop and communicate cost-optimized flavor center production plans and schedules. • Independently analyze and execute MRP functionality to plan and secure related materials. • Effectively plan and handle appropriate levels of finished goods and material inventories based on budgetary commitments, customer requirements and/or Company business initiatives. • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic supply chain analysis and key departmental Game Plan objectives. • Optimize supply chain/material costs considering production requirements, equipment and resource plans, and supplier constraints. • Develop off-line strategic supplier analyses, production planning/scheduling business analyses, scenario management, and modeling "what if" simulations to proactively address total supply chain issues and/or make future recommendations. • Execute SAP and/or other systems interface transactions to maintain system efficiencies to include authorized inventory adjustments, material disposals and production scheduling/materials ordering in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley protocol. • Ensure compliance to Company initiatives including, but not limited to, Altria Code of Conduct, Quality Systems, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory. We want you to have: • Bachelor's Degree required • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain management/materials • Prior experience in manufacturing operations, production/material planning or supply chain management environment. • Proven efficiency with operating systems/software packages (COMPAS, SAP/MRP, MMS), and Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. • Strong planning, analytical, coordination, detail orientation and presentation development skills for exposure to senior management levels as required. • Detailed knowledge of supply chain workflow processes, products, materials, equipment and/or specifications to generate cost-optimized production/material • Work is generally limited to an office environment, with occasional trips in the manufacturing/processing environment. Occasional travel between manufacturing facilities and other supply chain functions is also required.
