WHO WE ARE:
This office is 5 minutes walking distance away from Pickering Go Station / Pickering Town Centre. The Office is located on Valley Farm Road.
We believe in high-quality, eco-friendly products that are good for the environment and good for people. We are a small "Canna Startup" that has been around for 5 years selling eco-friendly accessories. Our filter is in a couple of government stores and big retail chains (We sell to 4 public canna companies now wholesale). Although we are in over 400 stores, there is only the 1 founder / entrepreneur (me) and 1 other team member who who has been operating the whole company full time.
Our wholesale sales process has gotten out of hand and we cannot handle the large amount of stores that we are working with on a wholesale basis. We don't ask them about reorders properly and we let some sales accounts fall through the cracks because we do not have a full dedicated person to do this sales role. I am seeking a young, hard working and motivated individual who has sales experience and is seeking a new opportunity with a new GREEN company. We already sell into over 500 stores, but we need your help getting into more and properly managing the stores that we are already in. You will basically be responsible for our wholesale sales process from end - to - end.
*The idea of this role is that 2 days per week you will be required to work from my home office in Pickering. Then the other days you can optionally work to get more sales while working from home. You also have to have your own laptop and bring it to work each day.
*For example, you would work Tuesday + Thursday from my Pickering Office (10:00am - 5:30pm has been our work schedule). And then Monday and Wednesday you work from home during a schedule that is best for you.
This is a heavily commissioned based job. Your role performance will be based on how many new wholesale accounts you can bring in and how many of our accessories you can get from our current customers (Stores and distributors). In addition to this $800 minimum, you will be paid a commission based on the % of sales you bring in. This will be a sliding scale between 10% - 30% commission based on the total $ value of the products you sell. There will also be a bonus for hitting certain goals each month. This can be discussed early in the interview process. But please note that this commission will be a large portion of your payment. You need to succeed in constantly selling our accessories to stores in order to be successful.
We are a very small office of only 2 people. So you will be person #3. You will only be required to come to the office for 2 days per week, and the other days can optionally work from home.
Part-time hours: 25 - 30 per week
