We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis within each state to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical grade cannabis formulations in the United States offering patients and customers premium, high-grade cannabis and related products.
The Manufacturing Project Manager helps to lead and manage large scale manufacturing project activities through communicating risks, opportunities and current state of the project by coordinating meetings, resources, and information. This role will help lead multiple projects (enterprise project orders, production lines, plant expansion projects, new equipment installation etc) across 4-5 manufacturing sites. Candidates will have experience managing multiple, large scale projects successfully from start to finish. This role will sit in our Corporate Office in Boca Raton, FL and require 5-10% travel.
+ Develop, deliver and track detailed project plans including: schedules, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans and issue resolution plans.
+ Manage and track each project status on a continual basis regarding cost, schedule and all specification issues.
+ Make project decisions and recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization, and resource allocation with input from others as needed.
+ Proactively monitor costs and reacts to variations quickly; monitors labor reporting system to effectively control productivity; ensures financial success of project.
+ Coordinate staffing needs and deliverables with appropriate CoC, 3rd party vendors, and field service department
+ Conferences with customer, vendor and internals as needed to clarify, answer questions, gain answers to assure quality performance and completion of the project.
+ Communicate the project objectives, schedule and cost budget to all team members
+ Schedule and lead project meetings, assign project responsibility to all team members as needed. Motivate and challenge team members to ensure schedules are achieved.
+ Maintain a complete and accurate record of the project history. Review all potential cost increases and / or schedule changes with the management and customer through implementation.
+ inventory to be maintained by the customer to service and operate their machines.
+ Work with accounting on down payments, invoicing, and payment issues.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ 5+ years of Manufacturing Project Management experience in field-based project management for a company with multi-site presence
+ Project management certification (PMP) preferred
+ Must possess a Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Project Management or Automation
+ Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering and finance
+ Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
+ Quick learner ? grasps essence quickly and uses information learned to apply elsewhere
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, knows how to work well with diverse and dynamic teams across multiple functions, e.g., operations, sales, legal, marketing, technology
+ Strong negotiation skills, striking a balance between being flexible and driving for results with aggressive timelines
+ Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; can handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously
+ Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
+ Team-management and leadership skills
+ Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
+ Ability to work on tight deadlines.
+ Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
+ An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
+ Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
+ Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g. Monday, Asana, Airtable, Basecamp or Trello) is a plus
