We identify, evaluate, and acquire U.S.-based cannabis operations within each state to vertically integrate, produce, and distribute medical-grade cannabis formulations in the United States, offering patients and customers premium cannabis and related products.
The Human Resources Generalist will assists in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource Department. The HR Generalist will assist in the recruitment process and the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs. This role carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment and selection and administration for the Corporate HQ of Jushi.
+ Collaborate with the Security and HR department in full-cycle recruitment
+ Audits compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and personnel records.
+ Ensure all HR required postings are kept up to date in all company the facilities
+ Provide administrative assistance to members of the HR department, including but not limited to, issuing communications, managing calendars, record keeping, coordinating meetings, etc.
+ Provide full life-cycle support, including offer letter creation, onboarding activity, requisition creation and management, candidates management, etc.
+ Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
+ Manage information related to leaves of absence, unemployment, 401K, and other changes.
+ Be the first point of contact for internal employees and external contacts to answer or direct inquiries as needed
+ Maintains Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with current employee data and run reports as needed
+ Maintains field compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, regulations
+ Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Recruitment & Onboarding:
+ Assist department managers with recruiting for Jushi?s, and it?s business units
+ Develop workforce strategies to recruit and develop qualified candidates.
+ Post job ads and organize resumes and job applications
+ Schedule job interviews and assist in the interview process
+ Help with the hiring and onboarding process
+ Ensure background and reference checks are completed
+ Participate in the onboarding of new employees to the organization
+ Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation/enrollment
+ Maintain current digital HR files and databases
+ Maintain records related to grievances, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
+ Perform file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Criminal Justice or field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Three plus years of experience Full-Cycle Recruitment
+ Ability to quickly grasp new technology systems quickly
+ Exceptional organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills
+ Demonstrated the ability to maintain confidential and proprietary information
+ Outstanding problem solving and analytical thinking skills
+ Excellent proficiency in Excel and Office Suite
+ Excellent attention to detail and judgment in decision-making
+ Ability to be self-directed and motivated
