Job Description

Our Client, a reputable and leading provider of cannabis products in Colorado, is looking for a Senior Accountant/ Financial Analyst to support the Finance Director in accounting, budgeting, analyzing, and forecasting for all aspects of the company’s operations. This role will handle and prioritize multiple projects in an ever changing environment. Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Maintain and improve routine weekly and monthly financial reports to various teams

? Review and reconcile weekly invoices and account balances in QuickBooks

? Perform month-end close activities in QuickBooks

? Assist Finance Director in keeping all financial models updated with current actuals

? Assist with tax filings / bank management / cash management

? Track detailed weekly actuals and perform variance analysis against consolidated budget/forecast

? Assist with tax filings / bank management / cash management

? Assist Finance Director in formulating budgets for each department and consolidating budgets for all Good Chemistry operations

? Perform ad hoc analyses as required by other departments or by Finance Director

? Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

? Expert in QuickBooks and Excel

? Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field

? 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance and bookkeeping

? Excellent problem-solving skills

? Effective time management skills

? Ability to effectively multi-task

? Adaptability to a fast-paced, challenging and constantly evolving work environment

? Knowledge of cannabis industry and 280E a plus

? Basic working knowledge in FlowHub a plus

? Financial modeling experience a plus

Compensation: $80-100K plus full benefits
